Age Limit (as on 01.01.2014)
General category candidates should not have age less than 18 years and not more than 33 years (born between 02.01.1981 to 01.01.1996 both days inclusive). The relaxation in upper age limit to reserved categories shall be given as per rules & regulations.
Qualification(s):
In order to be qualified for this Sarkari Naukri, candidate should have pass 10th class (Matriculation) or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

Successful candidates shall be appointed in pay band 1 of Rs 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs 1800/-

Selection Methodology:
The suitable candidates for these Northern Railway Group-D Vacancy will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Written Examination will consists of 100 objective type multiple choice question paper to assess the General Knowledge, Awareness, Mathematics, Reasoning etc. Question paper will be based on 10th class standard syllabus. The languages of question paper will be Hindi, English, Punjabi & Urdu only. There will be a provision of negative marking also. 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
